Foundation Level Leader as a Coach Training

The Low Carbon Contracts Company Ltd are a government-owned entity that exists to mobilise private sector investment in secure, low-carbon energy. The Company has a vision to accelerate the delivery of Net Zero.

Challenge

LCCC sought a comprehensive training solution to equip its leaders and managers with the foundational skills necessary for an effective coaching approach to leadership. A team of senior leaders had also been identified as designated mentees within the Company’s Graduate scheme at Low Carbon Contracts Company.

Solution

The chosen approach was a dynamic two-day training programme designed to cover essential coaching principles, competencies, and approaches. This programme, widely recognised for its effectiveness, caters to organisations seeking both an introduction and a refresher on coaching skills and a leadership coaching approach.

Results

The LCCC's investment in this training programme yielded remarkable outcomes. Leaders and managers reported a noticeable improvement in their coaching abilities, resulting in enhanced mentee engagement, performance, and overall organisational effectiveness. As a result, LCCC decided to partner with The Coaching Academy for two further coaching skills workshops and with our professional coaching team to provide executive coaching internally.
